Do you know what a Teaser Bet is?

A teaser is a joining of between two and ten football or basketball wagers where you alter the spreads of points, or totals in your favor in a trade for a smaller payout. When your teaser includes a point spread, you can decrease the spread for the favorite or, conversely, increase the spread for the underdog. You can increase or decrease your spread when it includes the total. Comparing it like a parlay, winning all of the wagers wins you the bet.

How do you determine the proper bankroll size for playing a game of cash poker?

The amount needed to play is determined by the games limits and type. If you are usually a limit player, the best betting amount would be a bankroll at least 200 times the amount for the big bet in that particular game. For example, if you typically participate in $1/$2 Limit games, then you need to bring to a game a purse of about $400, or two hundred times the upper limit bet amount. However, if you are entering a no limit or pot limit game, you likely will want to have funds of 20 times or more of the minimum buy-in. An example for this: if you typically play in a $1 or $2 No Limit game, then it would make sense for you to carry a minimum bankroll of $800 to play with. Because the minimum buy-in for the game is $40.
It is very important to note that these are minimum bankroll recommendations, and that to ensure long-term success you may want to consider having a bigger bankroll of roughly double the minimum requirements set out here.
